What to bring

The Northern Territory is renowned for its warm weather. There are two seasons in a year, the wet season (November – April) and the dry season (May – October).

To ensure your comfort when bushwalking and sightseeing, we recommend the following items:

  • Wide-brimmed hat
  • 50+ sunscreen
  • Preferably closed-toe shoes or sandals
  • Insect repellant

To ensure your maximum comfort while fishing in the Northern Territory, we recommend the following items:

  • Long-sleeved shirt and pants, preferably UV rated
  • Wide-brimmed hat
  • 50+ sunscreen
  • Sunglasses, preferably polarized
  • Neck scarf
  • Preferably closed-toe shoes or sandals
  • Insect repellant
  • Light jacket (usually only necessary for dry season fishing and early mornings)
